W.T. Clarke High School recently presented several performances of its delightful musical production “The Boy Friend.”
Set in the carefree world of the French Riviera in the Roaring Twenties, “The Boy Friend” is a comic pastiche of 1920s shows. The story focuses on a group of British girls studying at a finishing school in the south of France who carry on romances with mistaken identities and other crises.
The colorful student cast dazzled audience members and brought the affectionate parody of silly 1920s musicals to life, making for a wonderful showcase of student talent.
