As part of their honors math courses, students at Clarke High School in the East Meadow Union Free School District were required to write a math research paper. The top papers were then selected to compete at the Long Island Math Fair, held March 4 at Hofstra University, where competitors each gave a 15-minute presentation of their research.
Five students have made it to the final round, where they will compete against other finalists from all over Long Island for a gold, silver, or bronze medal. The final round will be at Hofstra University on Friday, April 29.
Congratulations and best of luck on the final round to the following students: Slah Khan (ninth grade), Ganesh Ravichandran (ninth grade), Siddesh Ramesh (ninth grade), Daniiel Wang (tenth grade), and Yash Shah (ninth grade).
