Poodle skirts, Thunderbirds, black leather jackets and the Burger Palace helped to transport community audiences back to Rydell High School in 1959. In early March, talented students from W.T. Clarke High School performed in Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s production of “Grease”. In this two act musical, popular song favorites such as, “Greased Lightning”, “We Go Together”, and “You’re the One That I Want”, brought spectators back to days gone by.
Directed by Kristen Norwark, the W.T. Clarke High School production boasted a cast and crew of 65 talented student-actors and design team members. The orchestra, under the direction of conductor Adrianna Donovan, flawlessly performed the tunes of music from a bygone era.
